CCM w VG248 Octel 250 SMDI Octel Won't Network

New install -VG248 works for FAX, Modems etc and internal Octel VM. When the Octel attempts to network to other Octels, call is started, remote end answers, before messages transfer, we can hear using buttset Octel saying "Goodbye" while DTMF continues. The Octel 250 is unable to establish or authenticate. Moved VG248 port used for networking to POTS line and networking is established and works fine. any ideas?

I just did this same thing on the 350 and CCM you need to upgrade the IOS to vgc-main-1.3.1ES8-2 this will resolve serveral issues.
You should also check to confirm that your flash timers match in both the Octel and the 248.
your ports should be in standard call controll mode.
hope this helps. You'll have to open a ticket with Cisco to get the IOS I spoke of.
