CCM upgrade to 3.3 - Qsig CNIP

I have recently upgraded our call manager from 3.2 to 3.3. One of the main benifits that we wanted was to be able to paa name identification between our IP phones and Ericsson phones accross our Qsig link.

I know this can be done but I am having trouble enabling this

What version of IOS needs to be on my gateway between the IP phones and Ericsson phones?

Do I need to make any config changes on my gateway to allow the name to be passed through

Any help much appreciated

You will have to change the router/gateway configuration to support the qsig protocol, and some minor changes to the configuration. Next thing is to reconfigure the gateway in ccm, make sure you make it an mgcp gateway. the "advanced" qsig features are only supported in mgcp. Also make sure the license on the Ericsson support the qsig protocol.
