How do i run reports on 1 extension, I'm running CCM 4.1,

I can get to CDR Analysis and reporting but when I try and run system reports traffic summary by extension i get the following error

30023 : Data is not available for the date range selected. Data is available only from Aug, 23 2004 to Sep 1, 2006.


I know im missing a step but not sure what. I'm not even sure I'm in the right spot, I'm trying to figure out how many calls this extension takes in 1 week.
