Hi All,

Under the gateway configuration pane for MGCP gateways, under the heading PRI Protocol Type Specific Information, there is a check box for "MCDN Channel Number Extension Bit Set to Zero".

I understand that MCDN has to do with the DMS-100 protocol only; however, I don't understand what MCDN is and what it does. Also, can anyone answer what the difference is between setting the bit to zero or to one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Sempei
