Using the CCM 3.3(3) OS installation disks I should be able to install Windows 2000 using the Cisco automated setup since this is same platform as the older MCS 7825 model (
The particular model I have has the Wide/Ultra SCSI controller and NOT the ATA-100 IDE controller. Anyway the installation starts OK, detects the hardware and begins the re-image process using OS_Disk6. After the image has been copied it begins Windows 2000 Server OK but shortly after it blue-screens with an STOP INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE message. I managed to get to the recovery console and this works OK but I assume I am missing some drivers or something since a normal MCS 7825 uses the IDE controller and not the SCSI one.
Does anyone know a way around this (apart from installing the IDE controller) as I would like to use the original Cisco install disks to get the OS on?
Thanks
Andy
