CCM Emailling Reports

Hi,

I have a problem / am misunderstnading how to email reports from my CCM server. Not to familiar with the CCM so please bear with me.
Ive inputted all of my email server details under your site / enterprize, local site smtp server. Ive also created an email account on my mail server named the same as the settings ive inputted in the manage smtp server form.
Ive added my email contacts under my options.
Whenever i attempt to run a report and email to a contact / group created the report generates but fails to email.

Can you assist as to where im going wrong, does my ccm server need outlook installing and configuring on it with a local account to match the account name ive created on the ccm server?

Any assist would be appreciated thanks

Would I be correct in guessing that you did not have Excel loaded on the server?

nope, i was testing by just inputting an address into the email report, this email address field (a single email address for a single destination). the report failed to send until I added the contacts into my contacts list.
i thought inputting a single address into this field for testing would work ..... but it didnt!
as soon as i added the address into teh contacts list and assigned that person to a group it worked fine....
