CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP? I looked on microsoft's knowledge base and this is all they gave me.

I checked my license settings and they were all per seat. Has anybody had this problem?

I ran across this error recently also. At one point during debug I ran 20clicln /scrub and the problem hasn't come back.

Here are some things to consider:

Turn on NAL logging (a .reg file from SSM Support Tools) on the client and re-run smsls.bat. This should give you a better idea of the network paths SMS is looking for and whether they're valid.

Check to see that the client connection account is not locked out and whether it has permission to access the share on the CAP.

Verify client licenses on the server (Control Panel > Licenses)

I resolved the problem by reinstalling the sms site server. I was using SQL 2000 but it has given me all types of problems. I went back to SQL 7.0 SP4. Everything runs smooth as a slip and slide.

I would not recommend using SQL2000 what a pain in the butt.
