CCM and SYN_APPS authentication

I am trying to install a product, Syn-Apps SA Announce, and one of the proceedures within the install require authentication with the publisher. Simply put in the IP of the publisher. Authentication fails. Syn-Apps says something is wrong with the CCM running 4.2.3, and Cisco claims something is wrong with Syn-Apps SA Announce.
