Howdy, we have a multi-site / multi-state CCM environment. Most all of our sites are connected via IPSec VPN using Cisco 1760V or 2811 routers.
CCM: 6.1.2.2000-1
Cisco 1760V: IOS: c1700-k9o3sv8y7-mz.124-3.bin
One of my sites is now experiencing call answer/pickup delay... here's a brief description:
Basically here is what happens, though results vary. Most of the time when they answer the phone whether it be internal DN to DN or external via 1760V (plar opx) there is usually a 5 second pause where the line has connected but no audio is being transmitted. Sometimes it is longer, up to 10 seconds and sometimes it doesn’t happen. But most the time it does.
helpful description huh?
In some cases the users can hear the person that is calling but the caller can not here until the 5 seconds is up. And transferring calls for them works sometimes and other times does not. If they hit transfer and wait a few seconds it seems to work better for them, but does not always fix the issue.
the part that's driving me nuts is the "sometimes" and "not always" we're experiencing.
If this was happening to you, where would you start?
Many thanks,
