This has beens etup but no reports are sent via emial, the sit in the CCM inbox.

The schedule has been setup with a correct email address.
All maintenance logs [i.e. alarms] are emailed fine.

I have a message in RED stating "You must install Microsoft Excel before you can email reports" in the report shcedule section of the CCM website.

We have Office [with excel] installed on the server [Exel 2007].

Any tips?

Hi, Is this a new install? There is a section in the install wizard that asks for SMTP info. Have you filled this in correctly?

Quote from install Manual:

On the SMTP mail server window, the wizard prompts you to specify the following settings and click Next.
NOTE: Reporting Service is a server-side service that replaces Report Distributor: you no longer install and configure Report Distributor on client computers. Reporting Service uses the SMTP mail server to email reports.
• If you want to provide SMTP mail server information now, select Specify SMTP mail server settings now.
• After SMTP mail server, type the name or the IP address of the mail server.
• After Mail server port, verify the port number. The default mail server port number is 25.
• After From address, type the email address from which all Contact Center Management
reports will be mailed.
• After IT/Administrator email address, type the email address of the network administrator
that will be notified of any enterprise alarms.
• If the mail server requires authentication, select the My SMTP mail server requires
authentication check box, and type the user name and password.
• Select the Send a test email to the From address check box.
• If the SMTP mail server uses Secure Socket Layer, select the Use SSL check box.
• If you want to provide SMTP mail server information later, select Specify the SMTP mail server settings in YourSite=>Enterprise. You can edit the SMTP mail server settings at any time (YourSite=>Enterprise, local site).

Thanks, can I go through the wizard whilst it is running. I seem to remember that it was setup, but it may have been done incorrectly. It would be nice to see what has been configured.

Just read that you can get this done on yoursite/ent/local site. Thanks I'll check it out.

No - everything is set correct. I get alarm emails OK too.

I still have an error msg at the bottom of the screen saying that I must install Excel before I can email the reports.

Like I said I have Office 2007 installed on the server.

Is CCM 5.5 aware of Excel 2007, I'm sure it needs to be a lesser version like 2003 maybe even 2000!

Thats what I am thinking - ive emailed PF support.

when you say you are getting alarm emails are you talking network monitor emails from CCM or Alarm emails from 3300?

Network monitor emails.

I found out that the PF reporter service has not started, incorrect PW. I reset it and it has now started. Initial tests still dont work. Further tests tomorrow.

Interesting - all the shedules that have been executed in the past came through at once last night.

The daily schedules should send out the reports at 8am in the morning for the previous day. This has not worked.
