I have 2 Standalone sv9100s that the customer wants to link. All programming aside, I need to order a Point to point CCIS circuit between the locations. Since everything is IP now a days, it’s a bit more difficult to source a circuit. I just want to confirm this looks good, since they mention PRI and I know this isn’t a PRI.

I requested the following : Point to point circuit P2P Circuit set up as ESF\B8ZS, No Clocking.

They said: All PRI circuits are set up ESF\B8ZS. It's a low level protocol on how the bits go on the wire

As far as clocking, all T1s have clocking. I assume that you mean that you will provide the timing to us, rather than have us provide it to you.

The order says PRI tie line. Assuming that I get ESF/B8ZS, should I be fine ?

Thank you!!

CCIS is done via IP. If you can get 2 CCTA cards you may be able to do it via T-1. But it needs to be a T-1 circuit (ESF/B8ZS) with clocking provided. Not a PRI circuit.
I do not think NEC supports CCIS via T-1 anymore. You need to check with your vendor.

We set up CCIS via IP. It was pretty simple. The customer's IT vendor had a VPN between sites so we literally just followed the training video and it worked immediately.

I understand port forwarding can also be done as long as each site has a static public IP.

Sorry for bringing up an old post, but it's' related. The installer is onsite today to spec out the site, and they asked me how to setup the CCIS, and I wasn't sure.

Robbed bit, PPP, HDLC, or PRI. Obviously it's not a PRI, but which of the other 3 is it?

Lastly, they asked if I need the T1 set to be cross over or to auto-cross. I wasn't sure on an answer, so also thought I'd ask.

Thank you!
