Please respond if you have taken the written and passed.

What book do you recommend for the written?
I'm taking the test in 7 weeks and do not want to waste time reading books without the proper depth and direction needed to pass the written.

I have Caslow's bridges, routes, and switches.
Cisco Press R&S exam guide---heard this wasn't that good.
Cisco Press Practical studies vol 1 ---more for lab
Cisco press troubleshooting IP routing -- more for lab (professional development)
Exam-Cram CCIE R&S -- primer/quick memory refresher book.

From what I hear, the current version has a lot of multicast and QoS, so I would make sure that you get good coverage in those areas. I would recommend the DQoS book and Developing IP Multicast Networks.
Sincerely,
Marvin Greenlee, CCIE#12237
