I just want to thank people that contributed to this forum, the little gems I picked up definitely helped along the way.

Fantastic!

It takes real commitment to go "All the way" with the Citrix exams - and a lot of hard work. Well Done!

There are very few of us CCEAs in the world - I hope you get a decent pay rise!

Now go answer those tricky questions in the Citrix Solutions forum :) CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

I'd like to echo the sentiments of armra. I've just finished with CCEA XP and these forums have helped greatly. In appreciation I'll be sharing some exam wisdom next week - no answers of course, just tips.
One last question...
What happens next? Over a week later, my stats on the Citrix CertManager are ambiguous - I've done requisite exams, but am still listed as 'In Progress'. Am I to assume that there is some automated batch routine, waiting for the next full-moon, to run in order to update all the 'In Progress' punters?
In other words, after seven months of study, I'd like something more definitive from Citrix than 'Hi, this is Mary, I'm on annual leave this week. Please leave your details after the beep.' Prometric told me to call Citrix. Citrix told me to call Prometric. That normally means that no-one cares...
Where's my green jacket, stick-pin, set of GinSu steak knives or whatever else you're supposed to get?

Most of this is tongue-in-cheek, some of it is frustration.

Have a nice day! :)

It takes a while for the Cert Progress to be updated - it will all happen in due course!

There's no green jacket, but you get a Certificate, Lapel pin and business card logos like you did for the CCA, and a card with random examination numbers on it.

At least, I did - only one of the numbers on my XP CCEA card matched an actual exam that I did. The others were either MF 1.8 numbers, or just wrong!

What you really get out of it is a Certification that will help you through the next few years, keep you well and truly in the IT field - and, with experience, should get you a healthy pay rise or two. You may need to ask, or switch jobs, but a CCEA is worth money in today's IT job market - we're few and far between.

Don't expect anything from Citrix themselves :-(

Good Luck! CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

Hi,
I have one more exam to go for the CCEA. i have to take the 931 (citrix secure gateway). It has just released in India and it seems to be pretty ambigious.
Has anyone taken the paper before? if so how was it.
regards
Thimmaiah
