Folks,

I have been tasked by my company to grab up the new CCDA. Having already passed the CCNA, does anyone have any advice on the design test? Any similarities as well as differences on the actual exams? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

I passed the old CCDA exam and CCDP exam as well. The CCDA I took was way heavy on case studies...had anywhere from 4 to 7 of them, and they were time consuming to read. I don't know about the new CCDA exam, since I don't have to renew until 2006.

i took the old ccda. but my instructer who has taken the new version said the test dose cover ipv6 and how to setup a router to route between ipv6 and ipv4. the test is still heavy on case studys also. i recommend using the cisco press book to study. i used the sybex book and ended up by the cisco press book any way. (sybex just leaves to much out).

hope it helps
