I just uninstalled CCC 4 and installed CCC 5 and the web based Report Viewer doesn't work! :(

I need to get this set up for a customer that needs to upgrade and obtain more licenses, but if this doesn't work I'm screwed.

When I go to run the Report Viewer, IE opens up, the logo pops up in the browser and I get an error....

Line: 97
Char: 1
Syntax Error
Code: 0
URL:
I reboot, reinstall.. always the same problem.

The web-based Delta Server works as does every other function of the CCC, but without a report generator, it's pretty worthless.

what O/S are you installing on?
You must make sure K Frame is installes at the very end.

Windows 2000....

But now I've been told that the OS needs to be a Server OS.

Is that for real or more Avaya BS?

A server OS is recommended.
CCC V5 Will run on Win 2k but win 2k has a limit of 10 network connections, this will cause problems if you wish to run multiple clients.

Ok. So the OS is NOT my problem. That's good.

Still doesn't explain the error in Report Viewer.

So... Does anyone out there have CCC5 working on Win2K Pro, Report Viewer and all?

Have you installed IIS ?
If so did you install it before or after Frame ?

IIS, absolutely. .Net framework before or after? Couldn't say, but I did reinstall for good measure. Still nada.

Besides, if that was a problem, wouldn't the web based Delta Server monitor not work either?

Dispensing quality rants and mishaps since 1999:

The order of install is all important and the latest sevice packs will help.

IIS must be installed before .net if you installed IPO Manager first that means you may have loaded .net first before IIS . Remove both IIS and .net and CCC start again.

Once this is done make sure your Archiver on the Deltta server is connected and updateing with call traffic before you bother with reporting. Stopping and starting the report service helps some times.

I posted this before i had the same problems with server 2003

CrashTest

You are a star, I have been trying to get reporter V5 to work, every time I clicked on the ccc Icon I got the browser come up and announce that I had no license, I took your advice and stopped and started the reported service 3 times and it works, CrashTest you Da man!!!!

I am also now getting run time errors with the reporter. cccv5

i am running w2k server sp4 the order of install was:

1. install iis
2.install .net
3.install msde
4.install ccc

delta, ccv etc all work apart from that i can't run reports.

I have tried every thing i can think of, help!!!!

The message is due to the fact that I was not running IE5.5.

I have loaded up I.E 6 and hey, hey, hey, it rocks.

FTFQ!

THANKS
