Hi all

I have recently upgraded my CCC v5 to the latest upgrade 5.0.33 and followed the upgrade instructions.

I have a problem in the fact that everything seems to be running (Delta server, SQL, Reporter etc...) but no call data is being written to the db.

I have uninstalled Delta Server after reading some posts on here and reinstalled it but I can't get it connected as it can't see the db.

Anyone else had this kind of problem?

Are you saying the Archiver Metrics are not incrementing under Archiver in Delta Server. ?
What version did you upgrade from ?
Is SQL server installed on the CCC Server?
If SQl is installed on another Server you will need to run Archiver.exe the old way you did with CCC V4.0. You would in the V5 Delta Server untick the Launch Delta Server at startup via delta server and boot the archiver.exe from the CCC/Archiver directory. And configure the SQL connection.

Hope this helps let me know

Thanks very much for the reply!

I upgraded from CCC v5.0.12 (i think)

I am running the full version of SQL on the same machine as the Delta Server.

The issue is that the Delta Server is telling me that it is connected to the database and it is displaying the calls correctly (on the Recent SMDR Entries) but the Agent [Active] and Calls tabs are saying "There is currently no data...".

If you run a historical report for prior to the upgrade the data is displayed but since the upgrade no data is available - so I assume it's an issue with the way Delta Server is writting to the SQL database??

The SQL connection appears fine (in the SQL Service Manager).

What do you think?

Thanks

Kev

Hi MrIpo

I have now removed all the CCC components and reinstalled everything from scratch - I rolled back the release to the previous one and no I can't get the Delta Server connected!

Any more suggestions?

Can you please confirm all of your usernames are correct with no invald characters I saw eaxctly what you are saying with 5.0(33) CCC last week.

You're right - I have just found out about the "invalid character" issue and did have 2 names that were noncompliant and 1 hunt group - I have amended these and the DS connected correctly! I can only assume that during the upgrade this became an issue that didn't bother the previous install??

I then noticed that the CCC Reports service didn't install correctly so have reinstalled that - did a reboot.

Everything appears to be ok with the exception that when I run a report I keep getting the error "Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed."

Any ideas?

Update - I have repaired all of the components and another reboot and all appears to have been fixed.

Thanks for the help.

Kev
