CCC Reporter 5.0.21 2

Upgrading Windows 95 PC that has CCC Reporter 5.0.21 to Windows 7. Can someone tell me please if 5.0.21 is compatible with windows 7 and if anything I need to do to make it work. Thank you in advance.

Did you try it? It should work if not 64 bit.

Thanks for the reply intrigrant. No I did not try it, and I am afraid to try it not knowing what going to happen. This site has old IP400 and old everything. Would the upgrade to 5.0.74 make any difference. Thanks.

Depends of what software and system you have right now.
The software has evolved and gained more features, CCC has become better in time.
But the real question is do you really need the upgrade? If your happy with the system as it is today I suggest not to upgrade.

If you are really worried,

Install Windows 7
Install Windows XP Mode.
Install CCC into XP Mode.

XP Mode is a virtual WIndows XP Session that MS supply free.

Addendum:

CCC Server apps : Win 2003 Server, no go on Windows 2008 Server, Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows 8
CCC Client apps : Windosw XP, Vista 32 & 64 bit

My experience is that if software runs on Vista then it will run under Windows 7 even better.
