Hello, I was planning on persuing my cca cert, I have been working with citrix for about 2 years now and am curious on the exams. On the citrix web site they have exam 220 MF XP and exam 218 MF 1.8. I would rather get cert in MF 1.8 because it is what we use at work however will the XP cert last longer before retired. Yeah I know it sounds like a dumb Q but I'm new to the citrix cert thing and they have 4 options for just the cca alone. I was looking at getting the Syngress book. How is the test, I imagine it cant be that hard. Thanks

Hi,

I'm CCEA and have to say that you better do not underestimate the citrix exams. They can be very hard especially if they concern things you have not worked with (like NFuse was form me). You say that you are still choosing whether it'll be MF1.8 or MFXP. In your case I would say: start with MF1.8 and then take the upgrade exam to CCA XP. If you are working with MF1.8 then you should know all the strange habits this version has. MFXP is a totally different product. Goodluck with you exam experience :)
