Does anyone know where I can find cc_ compiler? Or even the product number? yes, I typed it correct, cc_ compiler. Thanks in advance.

I have no idea what you are really asking for, but XLC is the C compiler that IBM sells for AIX. Here is a link to the XLC page on ibm.com.....


I have no idea what cc_compiler is. Also, the GNU C compilers work just fine on AIX and can be downloaded from here....

Perhapps your cc_ compiler is a simpler wrapper used by xlc ... otherwise it is strange !!

What are you trying to do? Any error messages associated with what you are attempting might be useful. Jim's correct though, the GNU compilers are usually more than adequate for anything you might need.
