Hi everyone,
Any of you did successfully connect to CC7 database to make professional report with Crystal? I tried to make a connection but only get a connection refused.
I just follow the NTP. Network address to connect is IP of CCMS server and port 5000.

Any help is appreciated.

bump!

I was wondering the same thing. I was told that Nortel doesn't support going into the database via the "back-end" as it would make the system unstable.

try LKeys suggestion - not port 5000 for instance:
Install Caché. (no longer using Sybase ASCE)

Install the following Caché ODBC driver:
ftp://ftp.intersystems.com/pub/cache/odbc/windows-ia32/ODBC-5.0.14.5702-win.zip

Under the System DSN tab
Create the ODBC connection using the Intersystems ODBC driver. You can name the connection whatever you like: ie. CCMS_CACHE_RENO

The Cache Namespace MUST be CCMS_STAT

Host {CCMS ip address}
Port 1972 {not 5000}

Password authentication

Test using the sysadmin username and password
(not a user with admin priv. )
