CC7 and Spectrum RTD (NConnect)

Does anyone use Spectrum readerboards with CC7? We use them and all was working well with CC6. We could make a data DSN connection to the Sybase blue database and connect with no issues. Now that CC7 uses a Cache database we can no longer get our readerboards to connect. I can create a DSN connection with the Cache driver which connects sucessfully but Spectrum does not work with it. Is there some way to connect to the CC7 database with Sybase drivers still?

any help would be appricated!

I don't believe so. I know that we had to make a lot of changes with a few of our 3rd party programs due to upgrading to cc7.
