CC6 Requires DVD Only? 1

Getting ready to upgrade SCCS 5.0 to 6.0 (and web client 4.5 to CCMA 6.0). My distributer tells me the CC6 software MUST be installed with DVD. My servers have only CD drives. A portable drive is not an option (s/w looks for DVD on IDE bus), and s/w cannot be shipped on CD. Has anyone else run into this?
 
Yes - Nortel switched to DVD with Contact Center 6. Unplug the CD drive from the IDE bus and plug in a DVD drive.

Better yet, go to a new server. For the cost, it buys you a lot of time in install with the ability to easily fall back if needed. CC6 has been out for 2 1/2 years meaning that your Release 5 server could be in the area of 3-4 years old.
