Hello All,

1 of our customers is creating historical reports, exports them to Excel, imports them in Excel and creates charts with the exported CC6 data.

He asks if it is possible to create charts using the historical reports. They have the report creation wizard license, but I'm unable to find anything relating the charts.

So is it possible to create graphical reports using the CC6 historical reports?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is possible with some Crystal Reports expertise and some patience to create a report that includes a chart and import into CCM. The report can then be run like a standard report in Historical Reports.

Thanks for the fast response.

So basically we need Crystal Reports to create reports with charts? This can't be done with the report creation wizard included in Contact Center 6?

Crystal has a big learning curve and report creation wizard is limited and you still need to load drivers or deal with standard reports.

Easiest way is to use Excel directly to the database. The person running the reports needs the sybase driver loaded. Then they can use Microsoft Query (a component of Excel, but not always installed as part of the Excel installation). Query directly to the tables in the database and use Pivot Charts in Excel. Works great, I have done this for several customers.
