We have a client with CC6 and using Agent Desktop Displays. They have made the decision to take the agents' PCs away and give them Sun Ray dumb terminals that connect back to a server. They attempted to load ADD over the dumb terminal and get an error stating "Cannot get the version of Agent Desktop Display on Contact Center Manager Administration server xxxx.xxxx.xxxx. (Object variable or With Block variable not set). Check your network connection and contact your administator".

I'm not as much asking for help in fixing the error as much as I am asking if anyone knows if this setup is supported. Does anyone have any clients using dumb terminals for their workstations rather than PCs? 1st time I've seen dumb terminals since the early 90s.

This means that you would have to have ADD installed on the server in a configuration that supports multiple agent logins. The CCMA NTP does provide an explanation of Citrix installation, which some companies use for this type of thing.

Thanks Sandy, I'll read over that.
