Hello,

Does anyone know if CC View plays nice with Windows 7? I installed CCV on two Window 7 machines and both users are receiving the Location:Common.Bas/set_TAD_from_msg error. I understand this error is related to the local users requiring admin rights to the time and date.

My IT guys are not willing to give this permission to the local pc's because of AD but they did add the folder C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\ CCC to Group Policy and gave the users write access. However, the error still comes up.

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks

The Client PC's need to be able to synchronise their time with the Delta Server.
1. From the Start button selecPrograms | Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy.
2. Under the Local Policies select User Rights Assignment.
3. Right mouse click on Change the system time and select Security
4. Click Add and select Authenticated Users.
5. Click Add and then OK.
6. The Local Security Settings screen will now have authenticated users added to the listing.

If in a domain this can be applied at the domain level as a Group Policy

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

Thanks. My network folks are telling me they applied this security access as a group policy because these clients are on a domain. Error still shows up.
