cc:Mail Mobile Access to Domino

I am thinking of switching from ccMail DB8 Postoffice to Domino 5 or 6. I would like to have ccMail mobile users continue to dial in to get e-mail via a modem and via TCP. Under ccMail they connect under NTRouter. I've read some support posting that suggest Domino comes with a MTA (message transfer agent) that possibly will permit ccMail mobile users to get access to Domino thru TCP but is more pessimistic about access thru a modem. But I see no clear cut yes answer on either option. If anyone knows for sure if mobile ccMail users access to a domino server via TCP or modem will work, please reply.
