I am stuck trying to use cazipxp.exe to uncompress a patch. I have followed all of the CA website instructions, and downloaded the .CAZ file a number of times, via IE and FTP, but it will not open. Patch is L098929.CAZ. Error is
"uncompressing c:\ca_appsw\l098929.caz...
could not open source file c:\ca_appsw\l098929.caz
could not open c:\ca_appsw\l098929.caz"

HI...

Copy both the source file and cazipxp.exe into the same folder...

then use...
cazipxp -u <source>

cheers
speshalyst So it Shall be Written!
So it Shall be Done!!

And make sure you don't have your o's and 0's confused.

Good luck.

I definately have them both in the same directory, even following the naming convention issued by CA, such that there are no spaces in the pathname. As for the 0 & o, I have been assuming a zero (0). Using wildcards produces the same result too.

The first two characters in the patch file name are both letters; L (ell) and O (oh). Change your 0 (zero) to and o (oh).

I had exactly the same problem - It was the O & o thing!!
