I was called by a friend wondering what might be happening with their internet connectivity......they have bellsouth ADSL with cayman modem.
Internet connectivity was fine up until Friday. They say Bellsouth was having problems but everything (according to bellsouth) is fine again as of yesterday but still no internet.
1. They have static IP addresses on the workstations
2. No gateway was listed (told them to place the IP of the modem as their
gateway but still no connectivity)
3. IExplorer settings are correct (autodetect )
4. They can ping themselves, other PCs and the Modem
5. Tracrt results: "cannot resolve"
