Hi all

we have enable the DCH monitoring for our customer runing CS1000 Rls 7.0 and we got lot of CAUSE #16 that is normal.

but we get also a lot of other causes such as (cause #47 , cause #98 and cause #44)

Please let us know if it is normal or may be some errors on the CS1000 system ?

Thanks

Regards

All 3 of the cause codes you asked about are probably blocking calls and need to be investigated and corrected.

Cause No. 44 - No channel available (Requested circuit/channel not
available)
This cause is returned when the circuit or channel indicated by the requesting entity cannot be provided by the other side of the interface.

Cause No. 47 - Resource unavailable/New Destination
This cause is used to report a resource unavailable event only when no other cause in the resource unavailable class applies.
or
This cause is used to indicate that the original destination is unavailable and to invoke redirection to a new destination.

Cause No. 98 – Message not compatible
This cause indicates that the message received is not compatible with the call
state or the message type is non-existent or not implemented.

many thanks Reusser, but thoses causes are due to CS1000 system or CO Provider ..?

what actions can we take face this ?

Thanks

could be either depending on if T1 or Virtual trunks etc.

if T1 most likely far end.

If virtual trunk, could be NRS setup
