Caught b/e PRI and BRI

My requirement is of E1/PRI 6 channels that would be fed to a Cisco 53XX gateway. Our service provider does not provide partial PRI lines, so subscribing it would be like keeping 26 channels idle.
On the other hand, is it equally effective to sunscribe 3 BRI lines? Can I equate 6 channels PRI to that of 6 channels of 3 BRIs?
