Catching Report user's username in Crystal Report

Hi All,

Is it possible to catch username and record it in a table in Crystal Report?

I just want to know who, when used the reports.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

If you're running the report through BusinessObjects or Crystal Server, you can use the "Current CE User Name" special field or you can use "CurrentCEUserName" in a formula.

I don't think either of these work outside of those environments, though.

Thanks Dell, I need to save those username and the time to a table outside of Business Objects.

At least one of the UFLs (User Function Libraries) listed at

http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html

includes a function that allows you to get the Windows User ID from a Crystal formula.
