I tried to find this at Microsoft's site through the Knowlege Base but did not have any success. I'm running Excel 97 and when using VB and trying to save a UserForm I developed, I get the following error message after hitting the save icon: System Error &H000FFFF (-2147418113) Catastrophic Failure

Has anyone else experienced this? If so do you have a solution?

Thanks

this might help

Thanks TonyU,

I did try and restart and also even went as far to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Office. However, same problem exists.

This might be a long shot, but I was having the same problem once in Access 97. Even though the form was saved, the message kept comming.

Found out there were errors on the harddrive, which might have caused it. The messages disappered with a new harddrive.

You might check ScanDisc to see if your harddrive might have errors.
