catastrophic error connect excel with ado

Hi,
I have an excel spreadsheet and want to connect it with ado to a delphi app.
I use adoconnection adodataset and a dbgrid. At design time I use jet 4.0 with extented parameters excel 8.0, the connection works well but when I try to run the application I get a message "catastrophic error" and stops in the application run in code when I break it, but at design time works perfect.

design time parameters <> run time parameters.
What else could it be?

Try viewing your connection DataModule "as text". Copy/Paste to the IDE and convert to pascal code.
Call it in OnCreate or wherever you feel appropriate.
