Catalyst 1600 for Cisco Lab??

Hi Im in the process of building a Cisco Lab, I already have several routers and 2 ethernet switches. A local reseller company has a Cisco Catalyst 1600 for sale. I've been looking though the Cisco site with no luck to find out whether this switch is similar to Catalyst 1800. Is the Catalyst 1600 Menu driven? Will this be a good choice for adding token ring to my lab?
