We are looking to re-build our catalogue (due to a lack of policy & ownership).
In the past we used AUSLANG loosely as a standard, and we are prepared to use this standard more rigourisly, however since this is a proprietry standard (that may not be known internationally).
I have also looked at the UN standard: United Nations Standard Product and Service Code (UNSPSC) - but I am not sure if the catalogue can support it - other than as an additional part number.
So the point of this post is to ask what standards other Ellipse catalogue users have as standards.
Do you think you have a good cataloguing stadard - if so, what is it?
