Hi all,
I'm new to NetBackup and was wondering… Why does the previous weeks backup disappear from the Catalog after reloading/inventorying a library? We were using Backup Exec before and I used to be able to look back for months and have Backup Exec tell me which tapes to put in for a restore. Does Netbackup have anything like this? Or do I have to Import tape Images every time I need to do a restore?

What do you have your retention period set to in the schedule of each class?

Comtec17 ... thank you .. they are all set to 1 week. Not sure why but .. now I know where to go. Thanks again
