Catalog problem wit BE 8.0

NT4.0, SP5
Backup Exec NT/2000 ver. 8
To restore (choose the files) i need to catalog the tapes,
but the job do not start up, that is:
I right click the tape and click to "run now", the
job doesn't start up, it'is just scheduled but it never starts.
If I schedule the job the result is the same......
Has everyone an idea ?

Have you previously ran an inventory on the tape? How about stopping and starting the BE services? Not sure but you could try. I run 8.0 and have had no problems like this.
