Catalog maker with Mysql

Hello,

Does anyone knows a good way to create a Catalog with mysql.

The meaning is that it is a printable catalog.

The first thought is creating one with adobe indesign and 2 plug ins who can handle a database with info in it. But to regenerate it it would be a hell of a job.

We want database publishing so a way that we can just push a button and the catalog is generated would be the best solution ofcource.

I know SQL, PHP, ASP and Visual basic. So if I need to create a plug in for indesign our so than I probably can do it in visual basic.

as a database I would like to use Mysql. Is there a way to store a full picture in the database? if so wich formats are supported? Our is it BLOB so that I can store anything in it? If it is blob where do I find info about how to use it.

You can use a BLOB on mysql.
