Catalog Listing

Would like to create a catalog of items in db where total items are in excess of 13,000. For instance, inventory database lists all computers within department. Would like to make a catalog listing of particular types of computers and the total count of each--ie, Dell Optiplex GX450 is a model that we have and there are currently in excess of 125 of those. Want the catalog to simply be:

Desktop Computers:

Dell Optiplex GX450 125
Dell Optiplex GX490 75

group by inventory item. display6 the item name and a summary (count) of the item in the group header or footer. Supress the details.
