Catalog and Report Deployment

Hey guys,

Our Cognos Server basically acts as a file server where Cognos Impromptu Administrator and PowerPlay Transformer resides with several catalogs, reports and cubes. Clients access these catalogs, reports, and cubes from their workstations.

My question is what is the easiest way to deploy a catalog to our server from my workstation? So far what I do is recreate the catalog on the server after developing and testing it on my workstation.

Let me hear your suggestions.

As far as I can see all you need to do is place a copy of the catalog on the server where users can access it.
