catalog a tape using windows 2003 NTBackup

I have a tape that should have data on it from NTBACKUP using Windows 2003 Enterprise Server. I can not find it in my RSM. Is there a way in NTBACKUP to just catalog the tape???

In computer management you can inventory the drive in the Removable storage section by right clicking on it.

I have the same situation with a 2000 server. I tried to inventory the drive but it really didn't do anything.
