Catagory 5 cabling color diagram? 1

I was looking for a link to information about catagory 5 cabling ......specifically the proper order to put the colors when making a cable...Thank you

Be careful if you're using cat5 jacks. Some reverse the positions. They could start with pin 2 then pin 1. Look at the jack numbering.

When using jacks, always follow the color code on the product. Pin 1 will always be white/orange if 568B and white/green if 568A, however, as you terminate the wires on the IDC connector on the back of the jack, they may not be laid out in order of the pins. If you are crimping plugs on the end, use the proper color to the proper pin and you should be fine.
