Cat6 shielded stranded RoHS compliant 1

As a first post, I'm looking for a CAT6 cable that is shielded, stranded and RoHS compliant, with hopefully the shielded RJ45 connectors from the same vendor. The reason for stranded is that it will be a short cable that has a couple of bends in it and the stranded wires will accept the stress better. Any help would be appreciated!

RoHS is an e-hazard European restriction. Are you in the United States or abroad? I'll bet I can find the cable you're looking for, but it won't do you much good if you live in Italy. Post back, please.

I'm Canadian and looking for parts in North america,the cable is going into a RoHS compliant Appliance!

There's a distributor called CablesToGo which seems to be in keeping with RoHS rules. You can find a couple of different flavors of stranded CAT6 at

I honestly don't know if the cable manufacturer also makes modular connectors or not, but I'll bet they'll know.

specifically talks about their adherence to this directive. Some of it is propaganda about how CablesToGo is "ahead of the curve" for EU market distributors and manufacturers such as yourself, but that's OK. It sounds like they are proud of their work and should have some bragging rights.
