CAT files not merging

Hi All,

My CAT files used to merge at the end of every job, now they will for a couple of days after I repair the database but then quit merging.

I run mergecat and it works fine but is time consuming. Any tips on why merge quits working automagically ?

Any way to fix it without initializing a new database ?

Well according to CA when the Cat files don't merge you might have a database corruption. You can check out their command line utilities to see if it'll work for you.

Hi,

An easier way is to intialize you Database.

You can do this from the ARcserve server admin\DatabaseTab

Go to the operation menu and select initialize.

select "All DBs" when prompted.
