Correct me if I'm wrong but there is still no Cat6E standard? Also, what difference does the little "e" or big "E" make? We are providing a new billing sheet for our customers and I don't want to say that we will be installing something that cannot be verified. Is the whole Cat 6E idea just a marketing scheme for the manufacturers right now? Thanks.

Correct, I am not aware of efforts to establish a Cat6e stndard. There are two committees working on Cat 7 (one UTP one STP) but that is not expected til 2006.

Cat6 standard was ratified by the TIA in June 2002.
But I have not heard anything on a CAT6E ratification.
