Hello,

Can a CAT 6e cable be used over a CAT 5 cable? If so, will there be noticeable improvements from DSL at the wall to the gateway and from the gateway to the PC?

you wont see any diffrence , your dsl througput will always be limited to 4-5 mbps coming out of the gateway from the ISP

cat 3 rates at 10mbps so it would by 2x adequate

the only place you could possibly gain would be if you are running a LAN and evan there you probaly would never use the cat6 potenial
