Hi, i've been trying to generate a report that would show me "paid transactions detail". I've tried the smart list but it only gives me a summary. For example: If i post a payment for Fox company for Inv#100 for $50.00,Inv#200 for $20.00,and Inv#300 for $30.00. I want smart list or any other report to show me in detail those transactions. What i am getting now is: Fox payment for $100.00 PYMN00022. Basically, i am trying to get a "paid transactions detail report that can export to excel, that report should include inv#, inv date, paid date, paid amount. I would really appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!

You're not going to be able to see this in any out-of-the-box SmartList. If you have SmartList Builder, or another reporting tool, you can use this SQL view I have published to create a report or SmartList:

Hi Victoria, thanks for the info. Now i have come up with $3,000.00 to buy smart list builder :( yikes! Is there another 3rd party list builder i can purchase to do the already explained task?

You don't have to buy SmartList Builder, that is the beauty of being able to get your data in SQL...with this you can:

a) run the query in SQL, and look at it there, or copy and paste to Excel
b) set up an Excel report to report on this (very easy in Excel 2007, also possible in earlier versions)
c) use Crystal Reports
d) use SSRS
e) use any other reporting package that can run against SQL Server data

Not necessarily in that order. :)
