When I enable cash management, I cannot adjust tills or make deposit. Error " no cash drawer assigned "
But when I check the employee credentials, cash draws are assigned to employees.
Could any one help me with cash management setup on Micros RES 4.0 or point me to a link with required steps.
So far everything on the Micros system is working, but need to setup cash management so supervisors can ring off,
and balance til without having to get sales report and balance from the server. Til balancing should be available through, the workstations itself.
Why exactly are you looking to setup cash management? You can pull up any report from the back office using the Auto-sequences and Reports, which you can use to balance the tills. I don't actually know of a single location that has Cash Management enabled. If you need cashiering, just assign a cashier link and run cashier reports (either in the office or from the workstation). If you want to track by server, just run Employee Reports (again, can be run from either the back office or the workstation).
