Cash drawer

Hi guys,

I need to make sure I get the correct adapter here, and was hoping you could help me out. I've two cash drawers running off of one PC, sounds like EPson printer interface. The problem is, I don't think the client is using Epson printers. I think they're ESPON printer intefaces (RJ-12 I think?). So, should I just get two RJ-12 to 9-pin serial adapters and run them off separate comports?

If they are off the printers, you just get a regular phone splitter and you can either open that and switch the wiring in it or you can cut one of the rj12 off one of the drawers and reinstall it 180 degrees out from what it was. Usually this works for the epson based printers, but I think star might be different.
