case sensitive 1

I've found that alias folders (not sure of this applies to all folders), are case sensitive, is there a way to make it un-case sensitive?

You are running windows right??

I have never found this to be a problem on windows, unix is case sensitive but windows is not.(Or shouldn't be anyway)

yes, Im in Windoze 2000, I tried going to an aliased folder, with a caps first letter, but it was a no go.. take a look

LoadModule speling_module modules/mod_speling.so

Hi mate,

Try uncommenting the following (Just below the last one that I mentioned)

AddModule mod_speling.c

Also, remove your httpd.conf from that link as I forgot that you had posted the ip address of your server.. You don't want that getting into the wrong hands..

I have a copy in case that doesn't work.

Hi mate,

Try using the uppercase alias and accessing it with a lowercase url, but make sure that the module that I mentioned is loaded first..

Alias /backup/

becomes

Alias /Backup/

Then try

http://www.domain.com/backup

and see if that works..
